Day 27/31 Days of Holidays (and a Giveaway): maddichan asked me to draw “Charles and Alli (CTFxC), Tobuscus, and Olga Kay.”
Holiday Status:
Fulfilled 30 out of 38 submitted prompts. GIVEAWAY HAS BEEN ACHIEVED!
R-Reverse progress?!
I remember things well in their visual form, and encourage others (this is my friend’s whiteboard) to do the same. It’s like my Pre-Calc teacher once said: “Visualize.”
Now every time she comes into the room, she accidentally studies for her oceanography course.
There wasn’t enough room to draw out all the options. :(
Nondenominational white board, in honor of the holiday-full month of December.
A couple of warm-ups based off of several of my own photos of statues in assorted Parisian museums.
If it isn’t obvious by the outrageous colors, these statues were white.
A confession and a small reminder, to others in the same position as I am, that how you see yourself in the mirror is very often not how you look to others.
It is an unfortunate reflection of our society that we have been taught to seek out the worst things in ourselves for amplification. This is only worsened by the fact that familiarity (in this case, the thing we see every morning, night, and reflective surface) breeds contempt.
You are not alone.
You know, I actually do pretty well in this class. But that’s because I take notes on the readings, so the lectures end up being review.
The plot wouldn’t let go. So it’s going to happen. NaNoWriMo. I don’t even know why I’m doing this. This is crazy. I have term papers to write, and gendered society to analyze, and things to do to live: like eat. And sleep. Oh god oh god oh god. I’ll need to stay off of Tumblr.
But basically, apparently, drawing helps me prewrite. So expect more of Death and Don to come.
I take control of other peoples’ whiteboards too. I’m the official Floor Doodler, you see.
